Founded in March 2015 in Chicago, Illinois, Striving For Modesty was created to offer women pieces that feel beautiful, comfortable, and aligned with who they are. We recognized the need for clothing that felt refined, fit beautifully, and honored the many ways women choose to present themselves. Today, we continue to curate timeless collections for women who value confidence, quality, and intention.
Meet The Founder
Aminat Odunewu-Seese built Striving For Modesty from both lived experience and clear purpose. She wanted women of every size and shape to uphold modesty, and feel comfortable and beautifully served.
Her vision continues to shape a brand rooted in faith, community, sisterhood, and empowerment.
